Someone has to sit down and calculate the payroll or at least feed the data into a program and thereby taking up the employee's time which could be better spent doing other things.

¿Qué opinas de las empresas de outsourcing? Las empresas de outsourcing son empresas cuya única función es contratar y administrar personal para otra empresa. Sus funciones, en teoría, solamente son administrativas. Para mí, existen dos tipos de outsourcing: A) Empresas especializadas con un perfil definido. Por ejemplo, una empresa se dedica a dar servicios de limpieza de instalaciones a otra. Para ello, tiene personal fijo de afanadores, equipo de limpieza, transporte propio, y la empresa que lo subcontrata le paga por servicio o por numero de servicio, de común acuerdo. Este, en mi opinión, es el mejor outsourcing porque se especializa en una sola cosa y ofrece valor tanto para empleados como empleadores y empresas. B) Empresas generalistas y meros administradores de nómina. Estas empresas no tienen un rublo definido, y a decir verdad, su única función es abaratar costos. No les importa más que ahorrar dinero y lo mismo contratan seguridad privada, que ingenieros o vendedores. Este es el peor outsourcing porque carece de ética laboral: generalmente buscan ahorrar eliminando con trucos legaloides las prestaciones laborales, convirtiendo el trabajo formal en informal pero tolerado por el gobierno. Últimamente el outsourcing ha cobrado importancia en esta nueva era del desempleo. Los empresarios y gente más rica ven en la subcontratación un método para convertir el trabajo formal en subempleo y deshacerse de lo que ellos ven solo como gasto: las prestaciones laborales. Los malos outsourcing abundan en nuestro país. Algunas de sus prácticas éticamente despreciables son las siguientes: 1.- Obligar al empleado a firmar su renuncia voluntaria o periódica, como requisito para ser contratado. Esto excluye al empleador de la molesta antiguedad y los pagos por pensión que esto conlleva. 2.- Falsas declaraciones ante el IMSS. Cotizar al empleado con un sueldo diferente a su sueldo real, cotizandolo generalmente con un salario mínimo. ¿Realmente hay alguien que todavía gane el mínimo? 3.- No pago de finiquitos o pago de finiquitos menores al legal. Como consecuencia de los pasos 1 y 2, el empleado solo podrá aspirar cuando lo despidan al finiquito de 1 año de trabajo como máximo, independientemente del tiempo que haya trabajado. 4.- Jornadas de mas de 8 horas de trabajo, pero cotizadas como 8 horas. Realmente ya nadie trabaja 8 horas diarias de lunes a viernes, ya son comunes las 10 horas diarias de trabajo de lunes a sabado, pero cotizan al empleado como si trabajara solo 8 horas. Adiós a las horas extras pagadas. 5.- Empresas prestanombres o contratación directa. ¿Realmente la empresa necesita subcontratar a otra para la nómina? En teoría, el outsourcing debería ser más caro, porque tendría que pagar al trabajador con todo lo que marca la ley más la ganancia del outsourcing. Así, muchas empresas contratan directamente a sus empleados, a travez de una empresa de papel que hace la vez de outsourcing, pero de hecho es la misma empresa, solo lo hace para llevar a cabo los pasos 1 al 4 como una persona moral distinta y así evitar consecuencias legales. De esta manera, se ahorran tanto el outsourcing como los pasivos laborales. Estas prácticas son más comunes de lo que parecen. A veces pienso, ¿realmente las empresas necesitan ahorrar costos laborales? Es que antes había mas trabajo que ahora, pero también tenemos a los hombres más ricos del planeta aún más ricos (antes no eran tan ricos). En México tenemos a Carlos Slim, el latino mas rico del mundo, cosa que no me enorgullece. Esto es cierto: el outsourcing, al hacer mas con menos gente (trabajando mas horas la misma gente),el outsourcing ha agudizado el desempleo y ha devaluado el valor del trabajo, haciendo más ricos a los grandes empresarios y aumentado la mala distribución de la riqueza. ¿Cuál es tu opinión acerca del outsourcing?
