Working Together
Once the work is awarded to the selected provider, contact information are exchanged and both parties can start communication. Afterwareds, the buyer would typically “fund” the project by trnasfering fees to provider’s “Escrow Account”.
Both buyer and provider share control on this escrow payment. The provider can’t take it over unless the buyer release it, and the buyer can’t get it back unless the provider cancels the escrow.
At this point, the work gets started.
LancersCafe.com© offers both buyer and service provider special training sessions so that the buyer can get the best for the fees he pays, and the provider guarantees getting paid for his effort.
Finalization
Upon the completion of the job, the buyer should asses the work to give final acceptance. Once happened, the buyer should release the escrow payment, and both parties should exchange reviews.
One of the most important phases of the project that should be taken care of by both buyers and service providers is the feedback phase.
The feedback is about a review (1 to 10) and a comment you leave about the other party.
A buyer posts a feedback about his evaluation for the service provider and his work. This should be a good guidance for other buyers when evaluating this provider or choosing him for their projects. Comments submitted by the buyer may be such as:
“This guy is good but is not well reporting his progress (8/10)”
“He badly underestimates project’s time frame (4/10)”
“Tallented, discipline, well communicating, sure I’m going to work with him again (10/10)”
On the other hand, feedback posted by provider should help other providers when work with this buyer in future, they would have good history about him. Sample of comments submitted by providers would look like:
“Totally uncooperative, and never knows what he really wants. (2/10)”
“Very hesitant, and changing his requirements, do your best to get his requirements clear when you work with him. (5/10)”
“Great buyer, clear requirements, very cooperative, I’d like to work with him again and again A+. (10/10)”
